Our client, a leading platform for managing personal, business and tax finances, is actively looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on a hybrid schedule in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! This position will work as an individual contributor within the marketing group to drive stronger customer engagement & acquisition through paid search channels to help fuel growth for their business, working in close collaboration with internal teams, vendors and partners.
*18-month contract, potential to extend*
Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Manager for Paid Search, you will be responsible for:
- 1. Leading day-to-day campaign management and operations, developing and executing SEM strategies, and collaborating with agencies/vendors and key internal partners to achieve best-in-class SEM strategies and programs.
- Managing end-to-end campaigns and focusing on personalization to achieve target KPIs and maximize ROI within weekly budget constraints.
- Delivering detailed, actionable insights and strategic recommendations to drive business performance. Also, interpreting data to provide guidance and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Conducting keyword research, technical, content and SEM audits, and producing optimization recommendations to improve campaign performance on an ongoing basis.
- Developing and testing new campaigns that target users and improve overall marketing efficiencies.
- Working closely with cross functional teams - Analytics, Tech, Business Ops in particular to maintain & enhance digital media measurement framework
- Having a strong analytical approach to acquisition funnel metrics, measurement, and campaign performance and maintaining a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape
Skills:
- Proven experience running performance marketing campaigns through digital, including SEM, and driving performance through optimized customer experiences
- Deep understanding of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads with preference for Google Ads certifications in Fundamentals, Search and Mobile Advertising
- Experience with monitoring and analyzing web analytics and campaign performance using tools like GA4, FireBase, Adobe & others
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional and measurable performance results through digital marketing efforts
- Business acumen: strategic thinking, business process development, analytical and problem solving skills.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Statistics required
- Min 7+ years of Paid Search experience in leveraging data to drive business results (hands-on experience preferred)
