Software Architect

A global company creating products for specific industries within the health, lab, and safety industries is hiring a Software/Solutions Architect to their engineering department in Wilmington, DE. This is a high-level, high-impact position that will work and interface with multiple engineering and product teams, as well as be the intermediary between the business and development. They are looking for someone with tenured experience in evaluating, determining, and executing technical roadmaps for various areas such as IoT, AI/Machine Learning, and cloud.

This is a fulltime position with benefits and will be hybrid onsite/remote. Outside of the technology, the company itself prides itself on their culture, work-life balance, and internal growth track. • 8+ years of experience with software/solution architecture
• Technical background in an area of development
• Proven experience developing strategies for new product lines or areas of technology
• Expertise in translating business requirements to development and vice versa
• BS degree in a STEM field

Desired Skills & Experience

• MS Degree, MBA, or other continued education and/or training
• Experience working within an IoT industry
• Experience designing a cloud migration

• 70% Technology mapping and budget
• 30% Technical liaison
