Grow your career as a Risk & Recovery Planning Analyst with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

Will join the Markets Resolution & Recovery Planning Team, supporting the oversight of the system calculated daily reporting of resolution P&L unwind costs and funding requirements. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in Resolution & Recovery Planning (RRP) or 5+ years of experience in fixed income product control, particularly within fixed income.
  • Strong product knowledge in Markets, Product Control, Fixed Income.
  • Must have experience at a large global bank.
  • Product control experience with fixed income securities, derivatives, or related areas.
  • Experience producing daily P&L for trading desks such as credit, rates, or equity derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of trading businesses and product knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience within a Front Office controls environment would be beneficial

What You Will Be Doing
  • Will support the oversight of the system calculated daily reporting of resolution P&L unwind costs and funding requirements.
  • Utilize internal systems to generate daily P&L figures and perform P&L variance analysis.
  • Perform data checks to ensure system-generated numbers are accurate.
  • Conduct analysis comparing current numbers to previous days, investigating significant movements.
  • Ensure accuracy for regulatory submissions, independent of the firm's actual financial statements.
  • Primarily a technical product control role applied to resolution and recovery scenarios.
  • Will support business-as-usual (BAU) operations within existing frameworks.
  • Review data quality checks.
  • Support audit queries.
