Motion Recruitment Places in Top 15 of Largest IT Staffing Firms in USA
Motion Recruitment is proud to announce its inclusion in the top 15 of the largest IT staffing firms in the United States, according to Staffing Industry Analysts. In their yearly list showcasing the largest IT staffing companies, Motion rose one spot to reach the top 15, highlighting its ability to persevere and adapt to the ever-changing IT staffing market.
Motion also rose in SIA’s list of all staffing firms in the United States, jumping two spots and reaching the top 60, and is 21st in a list of Direct Hire Firms.
“Despite adverse conditions and inconsistent market conditions, we continue to see the demand for top IT talent, and the resilience of our team in delivering it, to place us in the top 15 largest IT staffing providers,” said Matt Milano, President of Motion Recruitment. “While we celebrate this industry recognition, it also motivates us to not only continue this growth in the years to come, but strive to serve our customers even more effectively."
SIA’s reports show a staffing industry still trying to get back to its near-record highs earlier in the decade, with companies in the largest staffing firms list generating $145.2 billion in revenue, down from $168.8 billion last year. IT staffing was tied with healthcare at the top of most common primary revenue segments, with both having 29% of firms reporting them as their largest segment.
“This year’s IT staffing list included 66 firms that generated more than $100 million in US IT staffing revenue, including eight with more than $1 billion in such revenue,” said Kevin Chen, SIA research analyst and author of the report in a press release. “Market share among the largest firms continued to fall, with the 15 largest firms accounting for 53% of the market, down from 58% in 2021. However, this trend may be reversed in 2024, as a couple of large IT staffing acquisitions have been already announced this year.”
