Network/Cloud/Linux Engineer

A growing financial company is seeking a Network Engineer to manage their current traditional network infrastructure and support their transition to a cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with route/switch configurations, firewall management, VLAN/VPN setups, and data center projects. You will be responsible for engineering, migrations, implementations, and upgrades of all network technologies. In addition, knowledge of Linux servers and network automation is crucial as the network operates alongside a core Linux environment.

As they move from a traditional to a cloud network with increased automation, they are looking for someone who can not only manage the existing infrastructure but also assist in modernizing and transforming their network.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of traditional network experience
• Expertise with network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista
• Strong route/switch configuration skills
• Proficiency with VLAN/VPN setups
• SD-WAN expertise
• Firewall management
• Experience with Linux Gentoo and Linux kernels
• Solid cloud experience with AWS or Azure
• Strong network automation skills (Ansible, Terraform)
• Relevant certifications: CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCIE, JNCIE

Desired Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
• Network design experience
