Our client within the Healthcare & Dental industry is urgently seeking a Sr. / Staff Software Engineer to join their talented team of software engineers dedicated to delivering best-in-class solutions for our dental customers. This role involves advanced full-stack programming for the maintenance and enhancement of our Revenue Cycle Management domain.

This is a Fulltime Remote position

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with managers and staff engineers to provide technical leadership across teams
  • Model and mentor best practices to improve engineering processes
  • Communicate and assist in developing architectural standards and mentoring developers in their use
  • Craft code that demonstrates expert understanding of object-oriented design, refactoring, clean code, clean architecture, and solid engineering principles
  • Follow the Test-Driven Development (TDD) paradigm
  • Work with Product and UX Designers to create clean, intuitive user interfaces
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and code reviews
  • Mentor team members through pair programming
  • Solve complex problems with knowledge, passion, and curiosity
  • Partner with our DevOps team to build and support CI/CD pipelines
Technologies & Skill
  • Languages & Frameworks: C# and .Net4.7 AND C++
  • Frontend: WinForms, WPF, and WinUI
  • Databases: MS SQL Server
  • DevOps & Tools: GitLab, Jira
  • Client-Server Architecture and Windows Native Applications
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience building desktop UI and backend enterprise software utilizing our technology stack
  • Expert-level experience in unit testing
  • Understanding of domain-driven design
  • Experience in defining cross-team interdependent roadmaps
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy sharing ideas with, and learning from, other team members
  • Ability to effectively estimate engineering work within 6–12 month timelines
Nice to Haves
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Prior experience as a team lead or technical lead
  • Understanding of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)
  • Past experience converting legacy applications to a microservice architecture
  • Experience with Revenue Cycle Management software
