Our client is looking to bring on a senior software engineer who has expertise in C++, and AWS. This would be a hybrid contract-to-hire role located in Andover, Massachusetts.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for robotic systems, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into robotics systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Utilize C++ for algorithm development, system optimization, and real-time control applications within robotics platforms.
  • Implement-cloud based solutions using AWS services for data management of software across various hardware configurations.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to interface software with robotic hardware components, sensors, and actuators.
  • Conduct system-level testing, debugging, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality, robust software solutions for robotics applications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on C++.
  • Strong Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS for building scalable and reliable applications.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker for software deployment and management.
  • Solid understanding of software-hardware interactions and experience in developing software for embedded systems or robotic platforms.
  • excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
