DevSecOps Solutions Architect

This company is looking for an experienced DevSecOps Solutions Architect to drive the growth of their application development capabilities, support our client portfolio, and contribute to key customer projects.

The company is located in the D.C. Area and will remain 100% remote.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Serve as the Software Architect for critical engineering projects involving AI/ML, DevSecOps, and specialized technical architectures.
• Provide proven architecture and design expertise, with a minimum of three years of experience deploying enterprise applications in AWS that leverage AI/ML.
• Lead large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployments, offering deep solution architecture expertise in complex AWS environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on AI/ML projects, DevSecOps, and technical architecture.
• Strong background in architecting and designing enterprise applications, particularly those utilizing AI/ML in AWS.
• Expertise in containerized microservices, resolving vulnerabilities, and mentoring teams in these areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting solutions to customers and project teams.
• Experience working in Federal IT contracts.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness)
  • Streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
  • Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Security tools (Twistlock)
  • API management (Apigee, Kong Konnect)
  • Search and database technologies (ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, PostgreSQL)
• Strong expertise in automation for build, integration, and testing.
• Ability to guide teams on naming conventions, coding standards, containerization, and serverless development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
