IT Business Analyst - Generalist

We are partnered with a small financial services administration company to find a critical hire within their IT department. Within this position you will be a jack of all trades within the IT group, and day-to-day responsibilities may involve some amount of technical responsibilities (IT support, reporting, analytics), but the lion’s share will be collaborating with internal & external stakeholders including IT, finance, managed support & networking, and third-party software vendors.
This position will require at least 3-4 years of prior experience and a proven track record of professional experience in a business environment along with the ability to work cross-functionally and understand different business needs. Strong communication skills, the ability to learn quickly & adapt to a new business environment, and prior experience managing vendor or business partnership relationships is required. A fundamental knowledge of any IT areas including Analytics, reporting, helpdesk or software support are all plusses.
This is an on-site position in the Arlintgton, TX area for at least the first 6 months, and may afford increased flexibility as business relationships are established. Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an IT or functional position such as:
    • Software engineer
    • Support analyst
    • Business Analyst
    • Project Manager
  • Super communication & collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to pick up & learn new technologies & systems on the fly
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Information systems, business management, computer science, or similar)
