Senior Platform Engineer
The Senior Platform Engineer, will be reporting to the Lead DevOps Engineer, will play a key role in driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and tools that empower developers to innovate rapidly. This position offers the opportunity to design, enhance, scale, integrate, secure, and automate deployment pipelines and core services, addressing dynamic and evolving engineering challenges.

The Senior Platform Engineer, will be reporting to the Lead DevOps Engineer, will play a key role in driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and tools that empower developers to innovate rapidly. This position offers the opportunity to design, enhance, scale, integrate, secure, and automate deployment pipelines and core services, addressing dynamic and evolving engineering challenges.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Automate, maintain, and scale production environments across multiple cloud platforms, with an emphasis on AWS.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to advance the company’s infrastructure, architecture, and development workflows.
- Continuously monitor and ensure the stability, performance, and uptime of production environments and their dependencies.
- Implement and enforce security and compliance best practices across infrastructure and systems.
- Design and enhance infrastructure to meet customer and internal SLA requirements.
- Contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
- Build and maintain continuous deployment tools to streamline deployment processes across all environments.
- Partner closely with Global R&D teams.
- Independently manage workload and deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Participate in the Platform team’s on-call rotation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., IAM, EKS, Security Groups, EFS).
- At least 6 years in a DevOps role within a tech-driven organization.
- 3+ years of experience working with Kubernetes.
- 3+ years in system architecture and design.
- 4+ years working with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including patch management and secure configurations, with preferred experience in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Helm for application deployments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Shell, Go, or similar.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Solid expertise with Linux CLI and POSIX shells.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple development teams and diverse projects.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- A track record of optimizing and reducing cloud infrastructure costs.
