Mid Level Backend Developer / Java / Contract

This contract role is based in Atlanta, Ga for a gas station consulting firm. You will be building applications to improve the functionality of the clients they work for. Java is what is mainly used and required for this position. This is a 2–3-year contract, based on how long it takes to complete the project. 

The company has expressed interested in turning this role into contract-to-hire if they feel the person filling the role is a necessity of maintaining the application after its completion. There will be some onsite days a week but not exceeding three. Everything else will be done remote. 

Required Skills & Experience

•  4 or more years of experience with Java
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
• Understanding of REACT framework
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Knowledge of dental market

Desired Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of other back-end frameworks
• Familiarity with Angular
