SAP S/4HANA Senior Test and Cutover Manager
Global enterprise organization based in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Test and Cutover Manager to join their Program which includes a SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud RISE Greenfield implementation, SuccessFactors Implementation, Coupa Implementation, MDM Implementations and multiple integrations between those and existing Legacy systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and overseeing the end-to-end testing and cutover phases, ensuring a seamless transition and go-live for a large-scale, multi-functional SAP S/4HANA transformation. This will be a 8-9 month contract position and will be required to be hybrid onsite in Dunwoody, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Management:
- Develop a comprehensive test strategy covering all testing phases: unit, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing.
- Define and manage test plans, scenarios, scripts, and traceability matrices to ensure full coverage of business requirements.
- Coordinate with functional teams to support test case development, ensuring that all key business processes and data flows are validated.
- Implement defect management processes to track, prioritize, and resolve issues.
- Organize and facilitate test cycles, including preparation and coordination of test data, resources, and environments.
- Collaborate with key-, end-users and stakeholders to ensure successful completion of System Integration Testing (multiple cycles) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
2. Cutover Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage a detailed cutover plan to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
- Define roles and responsibilities for all cutover activities, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (data, technical, business, and IT) to align on cutover tasks, dependencies, and timelines.
- Coordinate data migration, system configuration, and technical cutover tasks, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Implement risk management strategies to anticipate and mitigate potential issues during cutover.
- Provide clear and timely communications to all stakeholders throughout the cutover process.
3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, business owners, and technical teams to ensure alignment across all phases.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for test and cutover-related activities, providing regular status updates and reports to senior management.
- Conduct post-cutover reviews to assess performance, address any outstanding issues, and document lessons learned.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure that all test and cutover activities comply with project governance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of test and cutover processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of SAP testing and cutover experience, with a focus on S/4HANA, preferably in Private Cloud RISE environments.
- SAP Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules and cutover methodologies, with proven experience in end-to-end SAP project delivery.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex testing and cutover activities in large-scale SAP implementations.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues, make decisions under pressure, and drive continuous improvements.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP certifications related to S/4HANA or project management
- Experience in Tricentis qTest testing solution.
- Knowledge of change management principles to support user adoption and transition during the cutover.
