Our client, the global airline leader in safety, innovation, reliability, and customer experience, is actively looking for a Scrum Master to join their team in Atlanta, GA! This role is onsite so local candidates are required.
***This is a 1 year initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert***
This Scrum Master will be responsible for user story creations, backlog seeding and refinement, MVP definition and prioritization. Prior experience leading scrum teams is highly desired!
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, or Agile Coach
- Scrum or Agile Certifications are a big plus!
- Prior experience leading scrum teams in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing scrum in the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
- Experience with successful Agile techniques
- Ability to work with and lead a team
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
What You Will Be Doing
- Leads and coaches the organization in its Scrum adoption
- Plans Scrum implementations within the organization
- Helps employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development
- Recommends change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team
- Ensures the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product backlog to maximize value
- Facilitates Scrum events as requested or needed
- Coaches the Development team in self-organization and cross-functionality
