Scrum Master

Our client, the global airline leader in safety, innovation, reliability, and customer experience, is actively looking for a Scrum Master to join their team in Atlanta, GA! This role is onsite so local candidates are required.

***This is a 1 year initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert***

This Scrum Master will be responsible for user story creations, backlog seeding and refinement, MVP definition and prioritization. Prior experience leading scrum teams is highly desired!

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, or Agile Coach
• Scrum or Agile Certifications are a big plus!
• Prior experience leading scrum teams in an enterprise environment
• Experience managing scrum in the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
• Experience with successful Agile techniques
• Ability to work with and lead a team
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment

What You Will Be Doing

• Leads and coaches the organization in its Scrum adoption
• Plans Scrum implementations within the organization
• Helps employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development
• Recommends change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team
• Ensures the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product backlog to maximize value
• Facilitates Scrum events as requested or needed
• Coaches the Development team in self-organization and cross-functionality
