Company Overview: Join our team and make a positive impact on the environment through innovative IT solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Program Manager to lead and manage various IT projects focused on environmental protection and electronic reporting. This is a 12-month contract position with the option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: As a Senior IT Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of IT initiatives within our division. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Strategic Program Management:

  2. Manage medium-to-large-scale IT initiatives throughout all phases, from planning to execution, while ensuring effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
  3. Allocate resources efficiently, monitor project progress, and report on key milestones and deliverables.
  4. Establish and execute multiple project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Leadership and Collaboration:

  6. Lead and co-manage web project development initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective teamwork.
  7. Mentor and guide team members, setting development goals, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring their professional growth.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document use cases and user stories, define business processes, and create training documentation for web-based applications.
  9. Technical Expertise:

  10. Utilize your extensive experience with Microsoft products and platforms to drive successful project outcomes.
  11. Demonstrate expertise in managing software systems, client/server architectures, and compatibility requirements, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Professional Experience:

  2. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably in IT program management.
  3. Proven track record of successfully leading multiple development projects on the Microsoft platform.
  4. Technical Proficiency:

  5. Extensive experience with various Microsoft products and platforms, demonstrating a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  6. Project Management Skills:

  7. Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation (use cases, user stories, business processes), and change request management for web-based applications.
  8. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  9. PMP certification is preferred.
  10. Communication and Leadership:

  11. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and driving high-performance outcomes.
  13. Environmental Awareness:

  14. A genuine interest in environmental protection and a passion for leveraging technology to drive positive change in this field.

Note: This is a remote work position; however, occasional travel to Atlanta may be required for meetings and collaboration with stakeholders.
