Lead Node.js Engineer / POS Systems / Hybrid / Atlanta, GA

A client is looking to bring on a Lead Backend Node.js Developer to join their team to work on their greenfield charity data tracking application. This application will be connected to handheld POS systems to understand how often customers are donating. This product is changing the game in deductable donations from smaller businesses that don’t have your typical large POS system like a well-known grocery and super stores. Think small business and locally owned restaurants.
This is a backend heavy role where you’ll be working exclusively in the backend on this application in Node.js and the frontend being React. This role is hybrid in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia 2-days a week. You’d be located in a great up in coming area where there will be lots of others with similar mindsets, great restaurants, and a cool after-hours night life.
Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript,
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js
• 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with React is a plus
• Experience with POS Systems.
