We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tech Lead to spearhead our mobile development projects, working on both iOS and Android platforms, and leveraging Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to create seamless and interactive solutions.
Job Description: As the Mobile Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading our mobile development team to design, develop, and deploy high-quality mobile applications. Your expertise in both iOS and Android app development, along with your experience with Bluetooth Low Energy, will be instrumental in delivering innovative and efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mobile development team in designing and building iOS and Android applications
- Oversee the entire mobile app development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
- Implement Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionalities to enhance app connectivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and stakeholders, to ensure cohesive product development
- Ensure applications are optimized for performance, usability, and scalability
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise
- Mentor and coach junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Developer with leadership responsibilities
- Hands-on experience building both iOS and Android applications
- Strong proficiency in Swift for iOS development and Kotlin/Java for Android development
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and integrating it into mobile apps
- Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Xcode, Android Studio)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating mobile apps with backend services
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Located in Temple, Georgia, or willing to commute
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with mobile app security best practices
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Experience with app deployment and distribution through App Store and Google Play
