Senior Golang Developer/Hybrid/Atlanta/Weather

A client of mine is looking to grow their team! They're an exciting company based in the Atlanta area seeing impressive growth in the Weather Forecasting industry. This industry is expanding heavily, and they provide a platform that delivers forecasting analytics to customers in Aviation, Construction, Agriculture, and even Golf. These forecasts allow users to make important decisions on operations affected by weather.

They're looking to build out an enhanced forecasting application to accommodate for changing weather patterns. They need a Senior Golang Engineer with expertise in Go, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and some experience in DevOps practices as well as Angular to help this project through inception. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, is located in the Atlanta area, and can adhere to a hybrid schedule. 


Requirements:

- 8+ years software engineering experience
- 5+ years working with Golang 
- Experience developing large-scale microservices cloud applications
- Lots of experience with modern DevOps practices
- Cloud experience in AWS (open to GCP/Azure, as well)
- Experience with infrastructure as code
