Senior Level Software Engineer / Java / AWS

This company is a leading platform in the insurance industry, providing a useful and user-friendly experience for customers. We're looking for a talented Java Developer to join our innovative team and help us enhance our platform in our Atlanta office.

You will be onsite 3 days out of the week and work remote the other. You will be collaborating and supporting a team of 5-10 other engineers that ranges from junior to principal level. This job not only encourages independent decision making but also guarantees personal development opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience 

• Strong experience in Java development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
