We are seeking a talented Mobile Engineering Manager to oversee our iOS and Android development teams and drive the success of our mobile projects.
Job Description: As the Mobile Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor our iOS and Android development teams, ensuring that our mobile applications are built to the highest standards. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, innovative mobile solutions that meet the needs of our customers. This role requires you to be on-site in our Midtown Atlanta office 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the other 2 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the iOS and Android development teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and prioritize mobile projects
- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the mobile engineering teams
- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in mobile development
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in mobile development and fintech
- Work closely with other engineering managers and teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines
- Provide technical leadership and make informed decisions on architecture and technology choices
- Manage team performance, conduct regular evaluations, and support professional development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Engineering Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong background in mobile development, with hands-on experience in both iOS and Android platforms
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and development best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
- Must be able to report to the Midtown Atlanta office 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with mobile security best practices, especially in the financial sector
- Understanding of backend services and how they integrate with mobile applications
- Experience with managing distributed teams
