Virtualization Systems Administrator

A banking and financial organization with several sites in the suburbs of Greater Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator 2. You will be interacting with Windows servers, Veaam backups, and VMware ESXi a lot in this position. Additionally, you will work directly with Azure Active Directory, SCCM patch and vulnerability management, Horizon VDI installations, 0365 administration, and vcenter/vsphere.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
· 3-5 years of experience in Information Technologies including server and application support in banking/finance is desired.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Strong sense of accountability and solid organizational skills.
· Proven ability to perform quality work against deadlines.
· Advanced Microsoft and VMware certifications preferred.
Strong experience with the following:
· Experience establishing and documenting standards, policies, and processes
· PowerShell Scripting
· SQL Server basic database administration, including backup and recovery and performance tuning
· VMware ESXi
· VMware Horizon Client (VDI)
· Project scoping and management experience is a plus
· Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019
· Microsoft Office and Exchange 365
· Microsoft SCCM
· Veeam Backup and Recovery is a plus
