We're on the hunt for a Technical SEO Specialist to play a critical role in driving organic performance through technical expertise, strategic oversight, and collaboration across teams. In this fully remote position, you'll blend hands-on technical SEO with content planning and cross-functional project leadership to help shape the future of the company's digital presence.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in technical SEO and platform management
- Strong working knowledge of tools like BrightEdge, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and similar
- Experience creating SEO documentation, SOPs, and content briefs
- Familiarity with hreflang, schema, and multilingual SEO best practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive solutions to completion
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Ensuring SEO functionality is properly rewritten for online experience
- Based on competitive analysis and best UX / SEO practices, build the case and SOP for the new Technical Writer to rewrite content
- Co-managing BrightEdge relationship
- Platform services
- Professional services
- Ongoing SEO performance audits
- Ongoing technical improvements to robots.txt, sitemap, schema, etc.
- Proactivity: identifying space for improvement, writing justification / requirements, then working with teams to prioritize accordingly
- Ensuring SEO functionality is properly rewritten for online experience
- Based on competitive analysis and best UX / SEO practices, build the case and SOP for the new Technical Writer to rewrite content
- Proper hreflang implementation for translations through Transperfect or other translation services
- Continue strategic initiatives as GSE (Generative Search Experience) in Google is moved from beta to production
- Revisit optimized blogging strategy
- Audit industry pages
- Schema leadership sand support
