A warehousing robotics company in the greater Boston area is building state-of-the-art robotic systems that are engineered to optimize inventory management, increase productivity, and ensure seamless operations. We seek a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior/Principal Manufacturing Engineer with a strong focus on Quality Engineering to join our esteemed team.

As a Senior/Principal Manufacturing Engineer focusing on Quality Engineering, you will take a leadership role in shaping and maintaining the quality standards of our advanced robotic systems throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop and refine quality control processes, address complex manufacturing challenges, and drive strategic continuous improvement initiatives. Your deep expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.
Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a significant focus on quality in robotics, automation, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of leading quality control initiatives and process improvements in a complex manufacturing environment.

  • Expert knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other advanced process improvement methodologies.

  • Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and CAPA processes at a senior level.

  • Strong experience in supplier quality management and cross-functional team leadership.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in the robotics or automation industry.
  • Experience with advanced quality engineering certifications, such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE).
  • Deep understanding of regulatory standards relevant to robotics manufacturing.
