We are seeking a talented and passionate Onsite CFD Engineer specializing in External Aerodynamics to join our dynamic team in Boston, MA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the aerodynamic performance of our cutting-edge projects, with a focus on automotive and motorsport applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CFD simulations and analyses to optimize external aerodynamic performance for automotive and motorsport applications.
  • Generate high-quality mesh models suitable for aerodynamic simulations.
  • Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance vehicle performance.
  • Perform post-processing of CFD results and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in CFD methodologies and tools, and implement best practices within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in conducting CFD simulations, with a focus on external aerodynamics.
  • Proficiency in mesh generation techniques and software (e.g., ANSA
  • Strong background in post-processing CFD results using tools such as Tecplot, ParaView, or EnSight.
  • Experience in automotive or motorsport aerodynamics is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of fluid dynamics principles and their application to vehicle aerodynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
