Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Global Engineering to lead our engineering teams across the globe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing web development teams, with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, and a passion for innovation in simulation technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a global engineering team focused on developing high-performance 3D simulation products.
• Oversee frontend development using React, ensuring best practices in UI/UX design and implementation.
• Direct backend development utilizing Node, Python, and Java, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
• Manage infrastructure and deployment strategies, ensuring robust and reliable product performance.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team development and professional growth.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on web development.
• Proven experience managing diverse teams, with a strong emphasis on frontend and backend development.
• Expertise in React for frontend development and familiarity with Node, Python, and Java for backend services.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the CFD domain is a plus but not required.
