Our client is a fast-growing startup based in Boston. They are looking for a driven and experienced Lead Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the development of our core platform.
As the Lead Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our development efforts, guiding a talented team of engineers in building and scaling our application. You will take ownership of key technical initiatives, drive the implementation of best practices, and ensure that our platform meets the highest standards of quality and performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in Ruby on Rails, and a passion for mentoring and growing engineering talent.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby, Rails, SQL, and modern web technologies. Experience with front-end frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams, providing mentorship, and managing technical projects. Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex features and system enhancements.
- Mentor and support a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
