Principal Software Engineer/Boston/React

As a Principal Frontend Engineer on the team, you will lead the charge in updating and optimizing their user interface to ensure a seamless and accessible experience for users. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the platform and directly contribute to improving educational outcomes for students globally. They're using React, and TypeScript in an AWS setting. The ideal candidate is a self starter, team player, and has great communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a focus on React.js.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex UI features and components.
• Expertise in modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and best practices, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience in implementing accessible UI designs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
• A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact through technology.
