Our client is an early-stage robotics startup developing cutting-edge technologies for marine applications. Their mission is to design autonomous robots that can clean and inspect ships, even while they are in transit. They're seeking a Robotics Engineer to join their team!
As a Robotics Engineer on the team, you will lead the development and deployment of a marine robot capable of performing complex cleaning and inspection tasks on ships. This role offers the opportunity to work on a unique project aimed at solving real-world problems in the marine industry, leveraging robotics, automation, and sensor technologies. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in robotics development, preferably in marine, underwater, or harsh environments
- Strong knowledge of robotic systems, including navigation, sensing, and actuation
- Experience with control systems, computer vision, or AI for autonomous robots
- Proficiency in CAD tools, MATLAB, Simulink, or other simulation software
- Knowledge of marine technologies and materials, corrosion, and biofouling is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
