A member-centric credit union that has recently undergone a total modernization and revamping is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team full-time! The position is hybrid out of their New Hampshire headquarters.
They’re seeking a Scrum Master to champion agile practices across their development teams. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product and engineering leadership to prioritize and deliver work that aligns with the organization’s goals. You’ll also coach team members on agile methodologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement and performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience as a servant leader in fast-paced banking and financial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles, with the ability to adapt them to evolving environments.
- 4+ years of experience working with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Proven ability to hold teams accountable and drive continuous improvement.
- Experienced in assessing team performance and taking action to improve results.
- Skilled in coaching teams on various Agile methodologies.
- Energetic and persuasive, able to motivate and influence others.
- Committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust.
- Skilled at building relationships and navigating organizational dynamics.
- Passionate about driving team performance and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong communicator, able to convey information clearly and ensure alignment.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Able to guide teams and others in understanding and applying these methods.
- Support teams in aligning their efforts with the overall product goals and vision.
- Provide leadership through facilitating Scrum processes and meetings.
- Use problem-solving and organizational skills to coach and mentor team members in various roles within the Scrum team.
- Help the team balance short-term and long-term goals to maintain a shared vision.
- Protect the team from outside disruptions and remove obstacles to ensure smooth progress toward sprint goals.
- Ensure clear, open communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Promote transparency and trust across the team and organization
- Support a culture of ongoing learning and improvement, helping the team regularly assess and enhance their work practices.
- Ensure Scrum methods are applied effectively and continuously improved both within and across teams.
