A leading innovator in warehouse automation, specializing in the design and production of advanced robotic systems. They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead their mechanical engineering team and drive the transition of their cutting-edge warehouse robotic product from development to full-scale production. This company will provide relocation assistance for any candidate that is qualified for the role.
As the Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in guiding the mechanical engineering efforts for our client's flagship humanoid warehouse robotic product. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and production readiness of the mechanical systems, ensuring that the product meets all performance, reliability, and cost objectives. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in taking complex robotic systems from concept through to mass production.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- ?????Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of taking complex mechanical systems, particularly in robotics or automation, from concept to mass production.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost optimization techniques.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and mechanical analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Experience in the warehouse automation or robotics industry is highly desirable.
