Senior Robotics Software Engineer/Austin, TX

Their mission is to create intelligent systems that enhance efficiency, safety, and quality of life. They're seeking a skilled Senior Robotics Engineer to join their perception team. 

As a Senior Robotics Engineer on the perception team, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and optimizing software that powers their cutting-edge robotics solutions, with a particular focus on integrating and utilizing RGBD and LiDAR sensor technologies. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with ROS1 and ROS2 in the context of robotic software development.
• Experience working with RGBD and LiDAR sensors, including sensor integration and data processing.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for developing and implementing robotics algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with sensor fusion, point cloud processing, and 3D perception.
• Experience developing and testing algorithms for SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) or perception.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience developing and debugging real-time, multithreaded software systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
