We are currently working with a company that is revolutionizing how hospitals and medical organizations use data to diagnose their patients. They are using ML models and LLMs to assist medical professionals in answering very specific questions regarding their patients that may have a niche diagnosis, with a particular goal of having more accurate predictions than similar products that always predict the worst case scenario.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in Python development, including deep expertise in building large-scale applications, designing APIs, and optimizing system performance. You should also have either experience or an interest in Machine Learning and expanding your skillset using those tools.
This role will be hybrid onsite at their Cambridge, MA, office and is a full time, direct hire role.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of professional Python development experience with a proven track record in building scalable, high-performance applications.
- Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with experience in scalable application deployment.
- Proficiency with modern Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment workflows.
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex systems, driving projects from design to production.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-team interactions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with machine learning, data science, or AI applications using Python.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
