Principal Network Consultant

My client is seeking an experienced Network Consultant to join our team, specializing in advanced networking solutions and cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience with Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, ClearPass, and DataOn with Azure Stack HCI. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing network solutions for our clients to enhance their security posture, ensure high availability, and facilitate scalable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of network solutions that leverage Fortinet, Juniper, and Aruba hardware and software.
• Deploy and configure Fortinet firewalls, Juniper routers/switches, and Aruba networking solutions, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
• Utilize Fortinet security solutions and Aruba ClearPass for network access control, implementing secure connectivity protocols and identity management.
• Integrate DataOn solutions with Azure Stack HCI to enhance hybrid cloud environments, providing a seamless connection between on-premises and cloud networks.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, provide expert consultation, and deliver customized network solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering or consulting roles.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet (firewalls, security services), Juniper (routers, switches, network design), and Aruba (ClearPass, wireless solutions).
• Proficiency with DataOn solutions in an Azure Stack HCI environment, integrating on-premises resources with Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc.).
• Experience with network access control (NAC) and identity management, particularly with ClearPass.
