Required Skills & Experience
  • 1+ year of experience in capital markets or a related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of loans, securities, and derivative products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Macros, V-Lookups, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Strong client service skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business.
  • Familiarity with trading systems such as Calypso, Imagine/Mercury, Opics, Endur, or CDBO.
  • Understanding of derivative trading mechanics (e.g., Interest Rate Swaps, Swaptions, Floors, Caps, Commodities, FX, Equity).
  • Knowledge of ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annex (CSA), MSFTA, and GMRA documentation.
  • Self-starter with strong follow-up skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Experience with Lombard Risk’s Colline Collateral Management platform is a plus.
  • Tableau and SQL experience.
  • FINRA Series 7 license preferred.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Compare trade position files from external counterparties to resolve timely margin call disputes.
  • Perform trade decompositions to validate current mark-to-market exposures.
  • Review and present collateral margin calls while responding to counterparty demands.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Middle Offices, Documentation, Marketers, Legal, Credit) to resolve discrepancies.
  • Produce and distribute ad-hoc reporting requirements to clients and internal partners.
  • Crosstrain future staff members to assist and independently perform margin-related responsibilities.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, controls, and procedures within the Collateral Management team.
  • Work with project teams to develop system enhancement requirements and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Team members are expected to uphold a strong risk management and compliance culture. This includes adherence to all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), timely escalation and resolution of issues, and making sound risk decisions aligned with the company’s policies and risk appetite.
