Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Business Systems Data or Business Systems Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- 4 to 6 years’ experience working in technology with focus on ETL and data analysis.
- Should be able to write simple SQL to query the data.
- Understanding of the design, development, and implementation of software solution.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI.
- Working knowledge of importing data for use in report software or analytical tool.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Product knowledge in some or all the following areas (loans & leases, deposits, derivatives, securities, equity, capital etc.)
- Basic knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems, legal entities, and role of regulatory authorities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Technology Business Systems Consulting.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Technology Business Systems Consulting challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements.
- Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues.
- Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
- Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
- Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data.
- Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility.
- Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution.
