Associate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
A successful software company hiring for support to implement and automate infrastructure and platform creation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), integrated with Azure DevOps for template repositories. As an Associate SRE, you will work with teams to build, deploy, and manage various AWS cloud environments leveraging Kubernetes, Microservices, and EC2. This is a remote position.

As an Associate SRE, you will work with teams to build, deploy, and manage various AWS cloud environments leveraging Kubernetes, Microservices, and EC2. This is a remote position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with development teams to accommodate tools and access requests
- Standardize monitoring and alerting across environments
- Participate in patching and vulnerability remediation efforts
- Manage IAM roles and conduct basic security audits
- Audit pipelines and manage account inventories
- Administer and maintain source code repositories
- Work closely with senior engineers on project scoping and planning
- Actively participate as a member of the incident response team
- Attend and contribute to standup meetings
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience (5 years of relevant experience can substitute for degree)
- Familiarity with open-source databases, such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies
- Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
- Knowledge of AWS and other cloud services
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or .NET
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
- Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in dynamic settings
- Experience with dashboarding and report management
