Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Steele Creek, Charlotte, NC (Onsite, 5 days a week)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Manager to join a Charlotte branch. This role is integral to their team as they transition from third-party management to a more hands-on approach. As the IT Manager, you will lead a two person team with the plan to extend the team in the future. This role is mostly systems based with a little bit of networking so candidates must be skilled in both. and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management: Lead and oversee a team of 2 direct reports, with plans to expand the team in the future.

• Hands-On Technical Support: Engage in a variety of tasks with a focus on systems (80%) and networking (20%).

• Systems Administration: Manage and maintain Windows environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.

• Network Administration: Handle Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto security solutions.

• Transition Management: Oversee the transition from third-party management to in-house operations, ensuring a seamless changeover.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for system improvements and growth.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in IT management with a strong background in systems and network administration.

• Expertise in Windows, VMware, Office 365, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage IT operations effectively.

• Detail oriented and skilled in coordination

• Weekend or evening work is expected if needed as well as traveling as needed
