Mid/ Senior Level Devops Engineer/ Charlotte

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Mid-Senior Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps concepts, with expertise in infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform. The role involves release management, CI/CD troubleshooting, site reliability engineering, and monitoring in AWS and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Utilize infrastructure as code tools, preferably Terraform, to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Oversee release management processes, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within CI/CD pipelines to maintain optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure site reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance the overall DevOps practice.
• Manage and optimize AWS and Linux environments to ensure system stability and security.
• Develop and document best practices for infrastructure management and automation.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of DevOps concepts and best practices.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools, with a strong preference for Terraform.
• Proven experience in release management and CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
• Strong background in site reliability engineering, including monitoring and performance optimization.
• Extensive experience working with AWS and Linux environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in AWS, Terraform, or related technologies.
• Experience with additional infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Prior experience in a mid-senior level DevOps role within a fast-paced environment.
