  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry-specific regulations, particularly in finance, banking, and payments.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with anti-money laundering (AML), CFPB, and FTC regulations.
  • Background in risk management and advising stakeholders on compliance procedures.
  • Familiarity with audit coordination and regulatory reporting.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Researching Regulations:
    Stay updated on laws, regulatory changes, and industry standards, analyzing their impact on the organization.
  • Compliance Assessment:
    Evaluate company policies and operations to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and recommend corrective actions for non-compliance.
  • Preparing Reports and Documentation:
    Create and maintain compliance reports, regulatory filings, and audit documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Risk Management:
    Assess compliance-related risks, propose mitigation strategies, and collaborate with legal teams on regulatory matters.
  • Advising Stakeholders:
    Serve as a regulatory subject matter expert, training teams on compliance procedures and providing guidance.
  • Audits and Inspections:
    Coordinate audits, address findings, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
  • Interfacing with Regulators:
    Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, ensuring smooth communication and accurate submissions.
