Senior Systems Engineer/ Incident Response

We are hiring a Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in incident response (IR) to join a growing team. This full-time role is based in Charlotte, NC, with a requirement to work onsite 1-2 days per week and occasional travel. The position offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology, including VMware, Azure, ConnectWise, and Palo Alto, as part of a dedicated IR team supporting an outsourced client.

Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in incident response and remediation practices.
• Strong background in VMware, Azure, and Windows environments.
• Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and network security.
• Proficiency in ConnectWise or similar tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or CCNP.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective under pressure.
