Our Fortune 500 clients Digital Business Intelligence (BI) Team is seeking a skilled Data Specialist to support their growing need for best-in-class visualizations that drive aftermarket growth initiatives.
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Chicago, IL

You’ll play a key role in enabling data pipelines for Tableau dashboards, with a focus on developing robust, scalable datasets using Snowflake and Snap Logic.
This position will directly support our two full-time data professionals and collaborate closely with our larger BI team, which manages over 50 dashboards delivering insights to both internal stakeholders and the companies global dealer network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BI team and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Explore, prepare, and transform data for visualization needs
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines using Snowflake and Snap Logic
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with internal standards
- Design robust data ingestion and transformation processes
- Troubleshoot data issues and provide effective solutions
- Maintain knowledge of data platform updates and industry trends
- Contribute to the design of scalable and efficient BI data models
Required Qualifications:
- With degree: 2–3 years of relevant experience
- Without degree: 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Understanding of dimensional and relational data modeling
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and quality assurance
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex data environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Strong communication skills, capable of distilling complex data processes into simple messaging
- Experience with Snap Logic, Tableau, GA4 (Google Analytics 4)
- Strong statistical or mathematical background
- Relevant certifications in BI, data engineering, or analytics
