Senior Systems Administrator / Compliance / IT Support

We’re helping a startup that builds data-driven tools and AI solutions to help businesses improve decision-making and increase their value. They focus on private equity firms and investors to provide insights that help these clients make better decisions. This is a short-term contract as you will be covering for a key team member who will be on leave. Onsite in West Loop. 

The focus is on system administration, security compliance, and IT support. During your time supporting, you will play a critical role in maintaining IT operations. You will monitor SOC2 compliance via Vanta, use ManageEngine and PointCentral for MDM/UEM, and write clear documentation on IT processes, compliance checks, and access provisioning.

Contract Duration: 5 – 7 Weeks



Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration positions
  • Ability to work on-call in occasional late evenings or early mornings
  • Experience with MDM tools
  • Compliance auditing experience, preferably SOC2
  • Experience in a startup environment
 
Desired Skill & Experience
  • Public cloud such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Certifications in relevant technologies
