Java/AWS/Kafka - Clearing and Settlement Services - Hybrid in Chicago

We have an exciting full-time opportunity in Chicago with the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization, known for promoting stability and market integrity through its clearing and settlement services for options, futures, and securities lending transactions. This role is for a Senior Software Engineer to be a major contributor in the architecture design and development of scalable, resilient hybrid cloud-based solutions supporting critical financial risk management activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in building high-speed, data-centric solutions
• 7+ years of experience with Java
• Experience with high-speed distributed computing frameworks such as FLINK, Apache Spark, Kafka Streams
• 5+ years of experience with streaming technologies (Kafka preferred)
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
