Linux Support Engineer / Trading or Fintech

They design and implement their own low-latency technologies, trading strategies, and mathematical models to succeed in this highly competitive space.

We're helping a company that is seeking a Trade Support Engineer to focus on optimizing and managing their production trading environment. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for installing and maintaining trading applications on both desktop and server levels, while actively supporting live trading activities. The position involves close collaboration with development, trading, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, improve systems, and automate routine tasks. The engineer will also be expected to learn and support both in-house and third-party software used in the production trading system.


Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience
• Linux, such as Ubuntu and RedHat
• Command line experience
• Previous experience with scripting in Bash, Python, and using Database structures

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous work in the trading or fintech industry
• Experience with risk & compliance procedures
• Experience in the residential space
• Ability to work in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment
