Manager of Data Engineer and Analytics

We’re looking for a Data Engineer Manager to join a startup at the intersection of FinTech and MarTech, committed to revolutionizing how businesses leverage financial and marketing technologies. Our innovative solutions empower clients to optimize their operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive growth through data-driven insights.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hands-On Data Engineering Manager to lead our data engineering, business intelligence, and data analytics efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping our data strategy, building robust data infrastructure, and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data initiatives align with our strategic objectives. Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience managing a team of 2 or more.
• Proven experience in a data engineering or similar role, with a track record of building and managing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in fintech and/or martech industries.
• Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Postgres Databases within AWS.
• Collaborate with other data stewards to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and consistent
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data and analytics
• Helps deliver results through a comprehensive understanding of iterative Agile delivery
