Platform Engineer

Exciting new job opportunity for a Platform Engineer working in the hospitality industry. This role is part of the Platform Engineer team working full-time on-site in Chicago, IL. You will be collaborating closely with Platform Operations, Systems Engineering, and Product Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with continuous integrations and deployment systems, socker, Kubernetes, and various other modern technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for working for a team to design, build and maintain shared infrastructure platforms. As a Platform Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in making this company a leading hospitality company. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience developing continuous integration and deployment systems
• 2+ years of Docker and Kubernetes
• 2+ years building and operating access management; Conjure; Hashicorp Vault
• 2+ years deploying observability platforms such as Datadog
• 2+ years with Ansible and Salt Stack or similar configuration management tool
• Experience with Stash/Bitbucket, SVN, or similar code repository tool

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 3 years of experience
• Any professional certifications
