Security Installation Technician

We're working with an organization that specializes in home and commercial technology automation. They provide comprehensive design and installation services for integrated systems in residential, commercial, and multi-unit properties. They manage everything from the foundational infrastructure within walls to the everyday technology that enhances user daily experience.
This organization is looking for Mid-Senior level Security Installation Technicians.

As a Security Installation Technician, your primary role will be overseeing the installation of high-end technology systems in residential settings. They are seeking a skilled technician who can expertly handle wiring, install technology devices, and collaborate with lead installers to manage daily on-site tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Clear and effective communication between all stakeholders such as the design team, project managers, lead installers, and other technicians is crucial.


Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience
• Surveillance Systems such as Salient, Avigilon, or similar
• Control System experience
• Security Systems such as Bosch, ELK, Honeywell, or similar
• Ability to use own vehicle to travel to client sites within the Greater Chicago area

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in the residential space
