Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in the critical power industry
- Ability to troubleshoot down to component level on UPS, batteries, PDUS, STS, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of customer service skills
- Proficiency in completing Field Service Reports promptly
- Knowledge of equipment manufacturer’s specifications
- Ability to work independently and resourceful
- Physical capability to perform repeated bending & lifting up to 100lbs.
- Willingness to work nights & weekends when necessary
- UPS OEM factory training or experienced in Liebert/ Emerson/ Vertiv, APC/MGE/Schneider, or Eaton/Powerware
- Technical degree
- Previous 3rd Party UPS experience
- Previous Military experience and training
- Knowledge of general computer hardware & software applications
