Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator in Colombia, SC. This role requires a dedicated professional with mid-level experience in managing and maintaining IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Windows operating systems, VMware virtualization, and secure file transfer protocols. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Windows server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Manage and maintain VMware virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Oversee secure file transfer operations, including the setup and management of file transfer protocols and encryption methods.

• Perform regular system updates, backups, and security patches to maintain system integrity and protect against vulnerabilities.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of IT services.

• Collaborate with other IT staff to implement and support IT projects and initiatives.

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.

Qualifications:

• Mid-level experience in system administration, with a strong background in Windows and VMware.

• Proficiency in secure file transfer protocols and related security practices.

• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus but not required.
