We are committed to simplifying the ticketing process and enhancing the event experience for communities across the nation. Currently, we are seeking a talented Fullstack Tech Lead with expertise in PHP and Node.js to lead our API development efforts.

Responsibilities: As the Fullstack Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of our ticketing platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure APIs using PHP and Node.js.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design architecture, and develop technical solutions that meet the needs of schools and municipalities.
  • Implementing best practices for API development, including versioning, documentation, authentication, and data validation.
  • Ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of APIs to handle high traffic during peak event periods.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Participating in code reviews, providing feedback, and implementing best practices to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer, with expertise in PHP and Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency in backend development using PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
  • Experience with API development using Node.js and knowledge of RESTful API principles.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js, and the ability to contribute to frontend development efforts when needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the ticketing or event management industry.
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems and integration with ticketing platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS or Azure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
