A Chicago-based healthtech company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build new features and help the company scale. This is a full-time position, with a preference for candidates based in Chicago.
In this role, you’ll be joining the platform team at a small company in the healthtech space. They’re undergoing a backend migration from Ruby into Node and are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help complete that process before building new features for launch. This role will require contributions across the stack, interacting with their React frontend and AWS serverless architecture. Experience in the healthtech or medical device space and an understanding of compliance will be valued.

- 6+ years of experience with Node
- 4+ years of experience with AWS (Lambda)
- 2+ years of experience with React
- Great communication skills
- B.A. or B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience in the healthtech or medical device industry
- Experience with Python
